Charming apartment in the heart of Madrid

Recently renovated apartment in the heart of Lavapies, one of the most local areas of the city center.

Full of natural light and divided into an open kitchen with living room, a bedroom, a bathroom and a mezzanine with a double bed. Ideal for couples, couple with a child. Up to 3 persons

Kitchen has everything you need to cook at home if you feel like it and the idea for the apartment is to have a comfortable place for guests visiting Madrid.

Not your average vacation apartment
The space
It is around 50m2 with an open plan living room + kitchen.

It's also good to work remotely, as not only the dining table works for that, but I've added a workstation on the other side, more private for conference calls

The mezzanine is an idea I had to make the most of the space. I have added a comfortable mattress which works perfectly for kids/young adults. I have tried it with my cousins and they love it

There are large closets and cupboards in case you stay longer as well.
Amenities and common areas
I recommend walking as the apartment is in the heart of Madrid. Lavapies, La latina, Rastro, Gran Via, Plaza de España .... are within walking distance.

Still, Lavapies metro station is only 2 minutes away. Direct line to Callao, the shopping district.
Other highlights
The area is full of restaurants, especially traditionally Spanish ones, international cousins (mostly Indian and Asian) and lots of hipster coffee shops. It's a great combination, I love that I have to say that there is a large Carrefour supermarket.

there is a big Carrefour supermarket, open 24 hours. Also a cab rank if you need it, very useful to get to the airport.
